hi akshat
i went till road that goes to kaluvinayak in may 2007
this trek was organised by kshitij adeventure club,surat.
actually due to heavy snow at baguwasa,camping was not possible.
so i was not able to go to roopkund,
it was bad luck!
the best season to go to roopkund is september.
i have gone with person name sanjay parihar,you must be knowing him.
lohajung is good,i liked the place.
i stayed at lodge near lohajung school.
i am going to deo tibba base trek on 18th may to 30th may,2008
7500/- per person including railway fare,food and camping.
r u intrested in coming for a trek with me?
if yes pls tell as early as possible in two days.

hey nice discription u hve abt ropkund mate aneways am akshat  n frm del though my home town is nearby roopkund a place called lohajung u might hve been dere . i always wanted togo to roopkund but could not able to make it due ti fatigue n tiredness thouight i been to bedni kund many-a-times , aneways i'll be leavin dere again in june n 'll be glad to join u 4 a wonderful adventure till than bye bye
